FAQs

What does the “Non-R&D Allocation” slider mean?

If an expense cannot be allocated to any of the generated projects or was spent on non-R&D related activities, the “Non-R&D Allocation” slider accounts for that. For example, if the CTO spent 20% of his time on marketing activities, this would be counted as non-R&D activities.

The % allocated to various projects doesn’t match the number in the “R&D %” column

This is likely because allocations have been made to projects categorized as “174 only” or “None”. Only allocations made to projects that are “R&D Eligible” will be shown in the R&D % column.
